There was an old woman

There was an old woman tossed up in a basket

দেয়ার অজ অ্যান ওল্ড ওম্যান টসড আপ ইন আ বাসকেট

একদা এক বুড়ি ছিল যে ঝুড়িতে চেপে ওপরে উঠত।

Seventeen times as high as the moon;

সেভেনটিন টাইমস অ্যাস হাই অ্যাজ মুন;

সতেরোবার চাঁদের সমান উঁচুতে;

And where she was going

অ্যান্ড হোয়্যার সি অজ গোয়িং

এবং কোথায় সে যাচ্ছিল

I couldn't but ask it,

আই কুড নট বাট আস্ক ইট

আমি জিঞ্জাসা না করে থাকতে পারলাম না

For in her hand she carried a broom.

ফর ইন হের হ্যান্ড সি ক্যারিড আ ব্রুম।

কার সে তার হাতে একটি ঝাটা নিয়ে যেত।

"Old woman, old woman, old woman," said I

"ওল্ড ওম্যান, ওল্ড ওম্যান, ওল্ড ওম্যান," সেড আই

আমি বললাম, ও বৃদ্ধ, ও বৃদ্ধা, ও বৃদ্ধা

"O whither, o whither, O whither so high?"

"ও ওয়েদার, ও ওয়েদার, ও ওয়েদার সো হাই?"

এত উচুতে কোথায়, কোথায়, কোথায়

"To sweep the cobwebs of the sky!

টু সুইপ দ্য কবওয়েবস অফ দ্য স্কাই

আকাশের মাকড়শার জাল গুলি ঝাড়তে

And I'll be with you by and by."

অ্যন্ড আ'ইল বি উইথ ইউ বাই অ্যান্ড বাই।
