Rearrange the following sentences in the correct order and put the numbers in the given boxes: (বাক্যগুলিকে সঠিক নির্দেশ মতো সাজাও এবং পাশের বাক্সে নং বসাও )

(i) The old lady had been unseen to the king. [ 6 ]

(ii) He bought salmon. [ 2 ]

(iii) The errand-boy came running after him. [ 4 ]

"The King was in his private profession under the governments” – Is the King identic to the stories of other that you have read some time? 

Ans:- No, this king is not similar to the other kings that I have read so far.

Ans:- King Watkins was the father of Princess Alicia.

Ans:- The fish bone was the magic present for the beautiful Princess Alicia.

(d) Princess Alicia took care to ____________________________.

Ans:- Princess Alicia took care to dry it, to rub it, and to polish it.

Answer the following questions in complete sentences: (নিচের প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর দাও

(a)Why did the king believe that the old lady was a fairy?

Ans: Because she could know his name, The name of his daughter, and that the King was going to his office. 

(b) What was the message given by Grandmarina?

Ans: The massage given by Grandmarina was that the King must invite princess Alicia who will leave a fishbone on her plate.

(c) When did Grandmarina vanish?

Ans: After telling her message that the fishbone is a magic present that can be used only once, it will bring her what she wishes for only once, Grandmarina vanished.

(d) What did the king do inside his office?

Ans:- In his office, the King wrote and wrote till it was time to go home again.

Ans: Alicia began to put her hand into the pocket where she kept the magic fish-bone.

Ans: She gave it a little kiss and wished it was salary day.

(d) In the end Alicia handed over the fish bone to the old fairy. [ T ]

Ans: So she took it from the hand of the princess Alicia.

Answer the following questions in complete sentences: (নিচের প্রশ্ন গুলির সম্পূর্ণ বাক্যে উত্তর দাও )

(a) why was the king feeling miserable?

Ans: The King was feeling miserable because he had no money and was extremely poor.

(b) What was to Alicia the right moment for saying help from others?

Ans: To Alicia, the right moment for asking for help from others was when they had done their best.

(c) How did the king get his salary?

Ans: The king got his salary by the golden touch of the magic fishbone by Alicia who kissed it and wished it a salary day.

(d) Why did Grandmarina desire to make an end of the fishbone?

Ans: Grandmarina wished to make an end of the fishbone because it might harm them.

Identify which of the following sentences are Assertive and which are interrogative: (কোনটি সাধারণ বাকি ও কোনটি প্রশ্নবোধক বাকি তা নির্ধারণ করো ):

(i) He spent my years (age) of his life in a village. => Assertive Sentence

(ii) Where do you live? => Interrogative Sentence

(iii) Nobody was absent today. => Assersite Sentence

Replace the underlined words with their antonyms: ( তলায় দাগ দেওয়া শব্দগুলিকে তাদের বিপরীত শব্দে পরিবর্তন করো ):

Make meaningful sentences of your own with the following words: ( শব্দগুলি দিয়ে নিজের মতো অর্থপূর্ণ বাক্য তৈরী করো ):

(i) flashed ( জ্বলজ্বল করা ):  A bright light flashed upon my face.

(ii) Present ( উপহার ): My uncle gave me a present on my birthday.

Read the following passage and fill in the chart with information from the passage: (অনুচ্ছেদটি পড়ো এবং অনুচ্ছেদ থেকে তথ্য নিয়ে তালিকা টি পূরণ করো ):

Salmon is a fish that lives along the seaside. Salmon is born in clean water and migrate to the ocean. A salmon returns to freshwater to lay eggs. After coming out from the egg, a baby salmon stays for six months to three years in freshwater. A salmon can make long journeys, sometimes moving hundreds of miles upstream against the strong current.

Imagine you met a fairy in your dreams. Write in sixty words what gift you'd have asked from her and why. 

Ans: Last night I dreamt a pleasant dream of a fairyland. There I met a fairy. I asked her to gift me such a thing that children are keen on . Because they're depressed of their young and strained to figure. They're not given a lot of food and clothing. They're not allowed to play.
